The Women’s History Month celebration in 2022 was help at the Vice President’s Official Residence where Areva celebrated with her college and family friend, Vice President Harris, First Gentleman Doug Emhoff, and 150 powerful and inspiring women from all over the United States. Congresswoman, mayors, ambassadors, entertainers, civil rights leaders and students gathered to mark the very first time that this national observance was celebrated and hosted by a woman VP. The event was a magical celebration of sisterhood and Areva will treasure the memories of the day for a lifetime. She treasures a memento from the day: a beautifully scented candle curated for the First Lady by California artisan Melanie Apple Field.
